All audio recordings are still under copyright, and will be until 2067. So Edison's first phonograph patent, expired in 34 years (I believe, 17 + 17), but his recording of "Mary had a little lamb", is still under copyright...(Because, after all, we have to protect the economic interests of copyright holders...)
