I rarely borrowed from libraries before, and I don't do it now.
It's an interesting question, Chris. I think your results are going to be a little bit biased in the Kindle forum, though. Kindle e-books don't support Overdrive technology, so they're not usually used in libraries. Someone who used libraries a lot previously, or uses them a lot now, to borrow books, probably wouldn't be a good candidate for a Kindle. I'd therefore think that the people you find on the Kindle forum would be less likely to have borrowed before (and certainly less likely to borrow now) than someone who used another e-reader (e.g., Sony's Reader).
(Note: I'm not saying you can't use library e-books on a Kindle. It's just that you'd have to go through DRM-stripping and such, and that's a barrier to you if you are looking at e-readers. It can be done, of course, but if your primary reason for getting an e-reader is to borrow from the library, it's less likely that you'll buy a Kindle, I think.)
