The electronics are fine. The only problem we've ever had with it that *might* have been electronic turned out to be a loose battery connection. Once we replaced that, no more problems.

The prognosis is that assuming they can fix the current problem (cradle that holds gas tank rotted/rusted out, which means the gas tank was moving every time I hit a bump, which rubbed a hole in a fuel line), that it should last until tax time next year. Which isn't ideal (for me), but will accomplish the goals of not having two car payments at once,(Chris's is paid for in July), and having the money for a down payment. We gave our current car dealership a heads up about searching for me another Tracker or a small crossover... we'll see what happens. At least I hopefully don't have to have something else right this minute.
