The odd thing about the Pearl screen is that it benefits greatly from being paired with an LCD light. If you position it so that the intensity is at the maximum but doesn't create a reflection, then the screen acquires a ghostly elegance. You feel as if you're reading the off-white captions in a silent film.
If only the screen remained that shade without direct lighting!
