yes I know... but if you delete the "book" in Kindle for Mac (the mobi and the mbp on the Mac) and then at some later time Launch it from Calibre there is no mbp anymore and you've lost your annotations. When you launch from Calibre Kindle copies the file from the Calibre lib to the Kindle lib, but there is no mbp file. Therefore, the mbp must be managed (saved) and never deleted. I wish it were stored also in Calibre lib.

Does that make sense?
