Well, I have to say The Perfect Murder is delightful. We follow the investigation of Inspector Ghote, local CID, as he attempts to track down the killer of "Mr Perfect", secretary to a local business tycoon, in parallel with the uncovering of the thief of a single Rupee from the desk of the Minister of Police and the Arts. Remarkably, we discover very early on that Mr Perfect isn't actually dead ... and hence "the Perfect murder" isn't a murder case ... but somehow the missing Rupee and the non-fatal attack on the secretary are linked.
It's a very entertaining read and well worth the cost of entry. The Penguin formatting on the Kindle is first-rate ... other than a missing table of contents.
