But no, Android is not as same as iPad. Actually, Android is an operating system and not a device. iOs (runs on iPad)s and Android operating system (runs on Android Tablets) are different, main difference relies on applications and multitasking.
iPad are very similar to iTouch in the way they work and the Operating System they run. If you own an iTouch you will feel comfortable using an iPad.
