Hi - thanks for all the help so far! FBReader sounds like the way I'll be going.
I'm a bit intimidated to attempt, and am hoping for just a little more guidance.
Operating system of Pocketbook:
Linux (Kernel Linux 2.6.28)

There seems to be a type for each device listed - but no Pocketbook listed, and I'm not familiar enough to know if the desktop kernel is the same as what is on the PB. I don't want to end up with a dead device.
