Me, too! Your spider story reminded me that I haven't told what happened in my sister's classroom on Monday. She teaches ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages), and had a group of kindergartners in her room. They were studying animals, and had just covered "S is for snake" when one of the children called out, "Hey, look, Mrs. A. has a toy snake back here for us to see!" My sis jumped up quickly, saying that she had NOT brought in any toy snakes and to not touch it, and ran over to look. A very small banded watersnake was in her room. It had tried to crawl over a piece of posterboard that had some sticky tape on the back, and was stuck. My nephew went up there and rescued it and took it to the lake in front of his house and released it. It swam off happily. A very exciting morning, indeed! S is for Snake!
