I did it myself for several years and nothing happened. Well, almost nothing happened. Yeah, I fell off sometimes but I guarantee you nothing serious would happen.

In Canada I did ride to work, but here it is to dangerous and even if it wasn't the heat makes it a little difficult without showers at the office.

It seems that Vietnam is a great country to bike through. I never fall of the bike; yes, in the beginning when I learned it, as a little child, or when the roads are iced over.
I go everywhere on my bike; I just love the freedom.

I have also heard that riding in Vietnam is supposed to be very nice, I met a couple here that had ridden from Ho Chi Minh city, they loved it. Lets face it they had to be a little nuts, I'm scared to drive through Southern Thailand, I wouldn't want to be on a bicycle
