A moon halo isn't a moonbow... A moonbow is a rainbow created by moonlight. Apparently, you can often see it around waterfalls, but we don't have those where I live. But it was clear in the east, and rain in the west, a few hours after the full moon had risen. And I had to check the internet to verify what I had seen
