No, that is exactly my point, they wouldn't.
So for them, the Kindle cannot read library books (which is, after all, the point of the thread), even if for someone else it could.
For people using devices that already require layers of PC software, it might be much less of a hurdle, but the Kindle has been designed to avoid all that.
