Okra!

I've been living up north so long that I forgot that it even exists! Up here it costs about as much as a small steak.

When I do buy enough for myself (wife thinks that it's (small) ok) it usually totals about $10 or more.

I've made entire meals out of okra. Living in Florida it even grew along the road like a weed.
