Eastwood could still a heart from beating with his flinty-eyed stare. His westerns are still some of the best westerns ever made (I particularly like Pale Rider). And I have to admit that his speechless characters (or, more accurately, his characters who speak few words yet get the message across) really are tops. I thought the casting in The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly (Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef, and Eli Wallach) was inspired.
