GREEN FOOD
1. If your lemon pie filling leaks through the shell and makes contact with the tin pan, both will turn green. Go buy some glass pie pans already. Sheesh.
2. To stop your boiled eggs from getting that green aura around the yolk, start them in cold water instead of boiling water, so that they heat together. Then, as soon as the water hits a rolling boil, turn off the heat and let the eggs sit on the stove for 15 minutes. This works about 50% of the time for me.
3. Fried green tomatoes are delicious.
