Yep that's what I meant. And I must have missed something while getting ready to checkout then because it seemed to be a good bit over $140.00 (I forget the actual total) with shipping included. I opted for the free trial of Amazon Prime though so the shipping didn't add on. And I do live in the U.S. so I don't know what is up there. I do know it was over $139.00 as the subtotal though. I wasn't trying to shift the topic just state what my own experience was. Maybe I caught Amazon on a bad day or something. Anyway I do still have to wonder if saving a mere $25.00 is worth the potential irritation of having ads pop up in any case. And what good does such do? With T.V. I can see the need since stations have to have sponsors in order to keep their doors open and pay for the programming they show, but does anyone really need to have ads popping up on their Kindle while they're reading a book? I for one don't have my Kindle on the net all the time. Just when I'm downloading a book, and sometimes not even then since sites like Smashwords allow me to side load books. So what's the need for the ads?
