This is probably not what people had in mind by 'custom screensaver images'.

I agree that a $25 discount does not seem that attractive, but I guess it depends on the value and frequency of the 'special offers' - a variable which obviously Amazon will be adjusting carefully.

I think I'm fairly ad-resistant myself, so if I were in the market for a new Kindle, I would consider this model. But only if it were available in white of course.
