I know that the Borders stores in our area are all closing, but I am wondering if the entire chain, including the online store, is closing?

The reason I am asking is because I have just purchased a Borders Slick ereader from our Big Lots as a gift. While the recipient will be largely downloading books from the library, I would still like to know they can purchase books online with this ereader.
