He's got the rivers and the mountains in His hands,
He's got the oceans and the seas in His hands,
He's got you and he's got me in His hands,
He's got the whole world in His hands.
He? (Isn't that pretty sexist?)
Good morning, world! Yes, it's me and I'm alive again! Still a few sandwiches short of a picnic, but I'm functional. Good thing too because the air it already thick with Cherry blossom petals blowing off the trees, and I need to get some new photos. I have a feeling that the parks and river banks will be covered with people celebrating 'O-Hanami,' Cherry blossom viewing while picnicking under the trees. Almost all the trees on my street are Cherry, so looking down the road is like looking into a pink/white tunnel! The ground is turning pink/white from the fallen petals so it's a bit slippery under the tires, but THIS is the season all of Japan waits for. It doesn't last long, but it sure is pretty!
I'm fueling up on Keemun tea, rice, and miso soup. I've already packed my camera gear, added 5 extra packages of tissues to my pockets (my nose hasn't received the message that I'm feeling better) and I'm ready!

Not even the extra smokey! I made some chili for dinner last night and couldn't taste it at all!

And BTW I've been thinking of you lately, as I'm about to finish The thousand autums of Jacob de Zoete from David Mitchell. I like it.

I'm not familiar with this book. What is it about, and why doesn't it make you think of me? Is it a book that I would enjoy reading too?

Hello Presti! Welcome to this thread! Any friend of theophyline is a friend of mine.
(Guys, this theophyline is the stuff in chocolate that makes you feel sooooo gooood. It's a natural drug that the body releases when you are in love, making you feel sooooo gooood, which is why we crave chocolate when we are depressed!)

I'll bet 100 kibble that you love it!
East India Company + great tea
Keemun tea + great tea

= REALLY GOOD TEA!
In fact, I'm going to have my second cup of Keemun right now. It's the unbranded one from the Chinese Import shop, but it's delicious!
