I read it last year, and bought the sequel because I remember I liked it a lot and it's on my 're-read' list. I'll probably read it again before the sequel, just to make sure I'm caught up.

Odd-couple FBI pairing, who're not real hot about being teamed up, have to deal with a possible serial killer who soon turns his attention to the new team. When they find they can't trust anyone but each other, what they're trying to hide from each other becomes another problem to deal with.

More thriller/FBI type of mystery than most I've read.
