All this virginity-at-marriage stuff was, was a guarantee that the bride wasn't already pregnant by someone else, a guarantee that lasts up until the minute after the exam/wedding night is over
It's freaking 2011. If the royal line of succession is so important to these fossils, there are paternity tests. Nothing else could possibly concern anyone other than the bride and groom.
