We pay about €270 a year for two phones... (about £230, give or take). And we really do call for more than that £30 a year (again for 2 phones), so I doubt we are wasting that much a year

But it's one reason I won't get a so-called data-plan. I know I'd pay for it, and not (or hardly) use it.
