Looks like that's what we've got to do. I don't have the desktop either, so I just keep connecting about once a day or so.
I wonder: on the desktop, you guys are saying that you keep hitting "sync" and eventually it downloads. Would the same work for the Wifi, i.e. connect, disconnect, reconnect, disconnect, reconnect...? Connecting multiple times, and hoping that it'll eventually get it? I've just been trying about once a day, and not getting anything. And I'm getting frustrated because I've been waiting for this update since November.
