The Kindle only has two tabs on the left side, top and bottom, and the plastic one underneath the device, which does not work at all for me and others. Many of us have difficulty in keeping it in the case, as it easily falls out if one tips it to the right. This can be helped by twisting the elastic band over the bottom corner which makes it more secure.

This new case has what Amazon should certainly have provided, four tabs on each corner. The top right one is elastic, so can easily be removed to access the two switches on the back.

Whether that is worth $40 is a good question.
