Probably the same reason both my micro-SDHC card slots work on my cheap Chinese 10" tablet... just got it to try out tablet use and been favourable surprised by its functionality which not only includes the Micro SDHC slots but 2 USB ports, HDMI and ethernet as well as wi-fi although resistive touch screen...
