...not really. In both cases the clerk is saying that the stock of iPads they have for sale is currently depleted. As long as they're saying the have none
to sell they're fine on the truth standard. It's not uncommon for stores to have stock that's not currently for sale on hand - and when that happens they don't have any to sell.
When I went into Borders right before HP7 was released they had a big crate of copies on the sales floor - but they had none to sell - not that day at least.
