Problem upgrading

I have sent this to iRex Tech Support and also posted this at their forums (if I receive a solution, I'll post it here and there):

I recently bought an iLiad that has v. 2.8 software installed. I followed the instructions to update through iDS, and it downloaded the update. However, at the time I did not have a full battery and was not connected to the power adapter, so the upgrade did not install (I read about this somewhere in the manual, but it was too late). Now whenever I try to upgrade again, it connects to iDS and immediately says ‘Download Complete,’ but does not restart or install the update. It just goes back to the list of recent downloads.

Can anyone give me some advice on how to install this update or how to delete the update from the device so that it will install again?
