Sugar & Spice is an excellent read, although the subject matter can make a reader uneasy. I gave it 5 stars in my article On Books: Indie eBooks Worth Reading (I). My biggest complaint about the book is that it uses a lot of British idioms that may not be familiar to non-British readers. Most of them I could decipher via context, but there were a few I couldn't. Even so, these were minor distractions in a well-written novel.
