Stratz, Rudolf: Seine englische Frau. 1917. V1. [German] 8.4.2011

Rudolf Stratz (1864-1936) war ein erfolgreicher Romanschriftsteller, der jedoch heute weitgehend in Vergessenheit geraten ist.

In seinem Zeitroman Seine englische Frau spielt Stratz, der durchaus nationalistisch gesonnen war, im Kriegsjahr 1917 durch, wie das ist, wenn man als deutscher Mann im Ersten Weltkrieg mit einer Frau aus einer verfeindeten Nation verheiratet ist.
