Goodbye for ever Bookeen

I loved my Bookeen Gen 3, it was my first ebook reader and still is in my hearth.
August last year I sent it to change the screen and paid a little more than 130 Euro to get it repaired. At that time there where already ebook readers that where less expensive (USA, in $) than the cost of the repair, but again I loved my ebook reader...

Last month the screen broke again. I wrote to Bookeen asking if there was a warranty on the changed screen and the customer service told me that no, it's again 130 euro.

NO WAY!

I don't think the 6" screen of the Gen3 is so different from the Kobo's one and the Kobo I ordered (no wifi) it's only 78$. So why is the repair so expensive?

Anyway I'm expat in Vietnam and only twice a year I go back home, in Italy. Reliability is an issue, when here it's impossible to have something fixed and that's the reason I've more than one ebook reader.

So goodbye Bookeen and I cant say no bad feelings.
