I just realized that there are two threads on the similar topic.

Here is another idea. What software are you using to transfer the library books? You have to use Adobe Digital Editions or Sony Reader Library in order to get the special time expiration date to work. You cannot transfer library books using calibre or by drag-and-drop methods that work with non-library DRM'ed books.

Do you get the DRM message with a purchased book? For example, if you download a book from the Sony Reader Store, do you see the protected error page? Is it only library books that you have a problem with?
