If the response is that some amendment to the catalog format would make it start working with Aldiko, then given the details we would be more than happy to considering altering calibre2opds to incorporate such a change when in Aldiko compatibility mode (although it would be better if Aldiko was made fully OPDS compliant).
BTW: excellent book! I have read all 3 booKs in the trilogy.

SO I believe I figured out the issue. I had been using Aldiko version 1.2.x (because I like the UI better than the new version). I just updated to version 2.0 and it looks like this version is fully OPDS compliant because my catalog is now working

(and I agree, all 3 books were excellent and I can't wait for the 4th one to come out)
