I agree with those suggesting older Sony readers. Most of them are inexpensive now. Best Buy has a 300 for under $100. I don't know what other places are charging. But like others have said there are used ones for sale here at mobilereads & other forums.

Here in the USA a Sony PRS 350/650/950 costs a lot more than $140 unless you find a 350 on sale.

I'm curious as to what you decide too. Let us know.
