Optimal recipe schedules
When scheduling my New Yorker recipe, I found an issue.
The problem: What is the optimal download schedule for a certain recipe? What are the best days of the week? What is the best time?
The Financial Times print edition, for instance, is usually available from 5am London Time. The economist is available on Friday mornings. All this I've learned just by attempt and error. It would be nice to have some sort of 'suggested' schedule for download with the recipes this concept makes sense (daily newspapers, weekly magazines and so on).
I see two ways of achieving it:
1. The recipe developer just assigns a suggestion based on his own experience - supposedly he is familiar with the publication. This could come up somewhere in the Schedule tab.
2. The wisdom of the crowds solution. As calibre already keeps track of download statistics to feed the most used recipes website, it should also store the day and time it was downloaded. Maybe we can see some pattern from that.
Just a suggestion from someone with no programming background.
Congratulations all involved for the great work!
