Probably after you're more used to having your reader you'll feel more comfortable taking it places. Certainly I would have loved having one on the tube and buses when I lived in the UK.
That said, I've sat on some London benches where I didn't even want my phone out in case someone wanted to take it - but of course it was always easily accessed in case I needed to dial emergency services.
