That's what mine is seeing as well, those one penny pending transactions (that expire without ever being committed, essentially "pre-authorizations"). Apparently doing 35 of those in a day kicks in the fraud team at the credit card company (even though they had unlocked/reset the card just a day or so before). They said they were setting the threshold higher on mine, so hopefully it won't be a problem in the future (and, so far, at least they don't let the charges go thru, as B&N did to me one day, to the tune of 61 cents total!). I don't know if I can remove the credit card without buying an actual gift card, though; even though most of my purchases there are free or free w/ coupon, it would also be inconvenient when I did want to make a purchase.
