I have bought extensively from Borders in the past and I have never encountered them allowing you to get a preview of the novel. That said what I typically do is go to Amazon and look up the book and look for the Google Preview and read a few pages there before buying from Borders or Amazon. When I used my Libra Pro I would read the preview at Amazon then buy from Borders. Now that I use my Blackberry Storm, it makes little difference if I buy from Amazon or Borders so I tend to be a bit mroe agnostic about it.
