But I just read you can use the Powermonkey charger to directly charge electronics too. This means I can use the charger for my phone and the PowerMonkey to charge my mp3 player, eReader and DSi XL (need to get an extra tip for that). I don't think I can charge the batteries of my camera because Panasonic has its own type of tip.

It will come in handy when traveling and when I go housesitting. Normally the front of my notebook backpack is full of chargers. If I only need one plus the PowerMonkey it will make everything a lot easier. I think I'll get the purple one.
I would like something handy to charge all my items with/on. The best thing I've bought yet is a three-way-socket with an extensioncord ( a slim one, just for travel). I've tried several systems, but one does not have time all day to load all things one after another, when travelling. I have a Konnet Powerez for my iPod/iPad; that's handy. I might try a solarthing; but the good ones are expensive.
