The only reason quoted was the fear of being pirated... Either she's an absolute internet-noob and has never heard of it or she was simply stupid, because her books were online the moment (and even before) they were sold. So, fear of piracy is just silly because it has nothing to do with the electronic availability of books, but rather the demand of the books....
