Hi guys!
So today I received the
Octovo Solis that I ordered, and I'm happy to say that it works well with my
Marware Sportsgrip.
All you have to do is remove the padding on the clip (you don't need it anyways, since the silicone serves as a padding). I used a straightedge to simply pry it off, and it came off without any residue. If I ever remove my skin, I'm confident that I could superglue the padding back on.
As for the light itself, I don't think that it should be so expensive. At the angle I read, I can't see the glare on the screen, but I can see the LED itself, which is quite annoying. I have to carry a pack of sticky tabs around in order to shield my eyes from the light. In addition, the "snap" position of the arm is not a right angle, so the direction of the light is somewhat slanted. Nonetheless, it is quite a quality light, and I like it.
So that finally concludes my search for a light. Perhaps when the Octovo Solis wears out, I will consider the
M-Edge Touch, provided that it gain some additional decent reviews.
