Seems to be easy. I have 74 Kindle books on my iPad. Some are from the Kindle Store but most are sideloaded.
If you bought them from the Kindle store... then they are already "backed up" on Amazons servers.

If you side loaded them then you have them on your PC already which I am sure you back up at least weekly, right?
