I think you're being a little disingenuous in saying that the BPI "wrote" the law. It's pretty obvious to everyone that something needs to be done to crack down on internet piracy. I certainly think so, and I'm certainly not a "pawn" of the BPI. Naturally the BPI made their views known. I did too, and I assume that if you have an interest in the matter then so did you.

Anyway, I'm not going to participate further in this thread; everything that can be said probably has been, and we're just going round in circles.

Let's come back to the matter in a year's time and see if your predictions have come true.
