As the Catlady points out, you don't need to use ADE with your JBL, for B&N ebooks.
Once you have unlocked the first B&N ebook, the JBL well unlock all the others that you
put on your JBL, without asking for the unlocking data again, as long as they unlock
with the same data. The file name change should not matter in this case. It has mattered for some unlocking procedures though.
You can create a file structure for the library that you maintain on her SD card. The best way to maintain the library, in my opinion is to create the file structure you want
for the SD card as a folder on your PC's Hard Drive, then you can use something like
the free SyncToy to selectively maintain/sync the SD card. It is much better to work
with the SD cards using a USB 2 interface reader attached to your PC than the JBL's
USB 1.1 interface to its SD card reader.
