What about D.H. Lawrence, John Cleland and Vladimir Nabokov? Those three come to mind when I think of adult themed books. Or rather "Lady Chatterly's Lover, Fanny Hill & Lolita" do. Not to mention some of the 1001 nights tales (the unexpergiated version). Some of those tales have a decided adult content even though they are short.

I actually haven't read a specifically adult themed book since I was of an age when I really should not have been reading them. The only author I can remember off of the top of my head is Harold Robbins.

Adult Themed = Anything that would be labeled as "Adult" - Rated PG17, R, X or XXX.
