Slow, clunky, better than nothing
All the assessments are right on - the browser works, but you'll find yourself not wanting to bother. No https, and of course no flash.
That said, if nothing else is available, it does function. I've successfully used it on the following sites:
Gmail
Slashdot
Detroit News
Dailymail
Ebay
