I totally agree - we should all backup all the time.
I have just bought and installed a WD Sharespace Network Storage System which plugs in to my modem router and has 5TB of space.
I was running Windows 7 backup but it did not work
I am now using Acronis.
None of this is perfect but it is better than nothing.
