Jim Lester sorted out my daughter's problem brilliantly. Not his fault at all that the Adobe software is ridiculously overburdened with DRM and that Sony can't write decent software at all (said with feeling - before I surrendered and got an IPOD I had a Sony Walkman which used Sonicstage!! The sound quality was much better than IPOD but the software was unbelievably bad)

Get your authorisations reset and follow the procedure that I used - see my post above- and hopefully that should sort it.

We've both now got Kindles as well because new fiction is much cheaper from Amazon than the epub retailers. I took charge of installing those!! We both have them registered to one account so we can read each other's books. For her, this has the advantage that she uses my Amazon account to buy the books as well!!
