Unless Google backs B&N financially in their fight against Microsoft's patent lawsuit, no buyer is going to touch them with a barge pole. SCO bankrupted themselves with their suit against IBM and Novell. What little was left to sell from the wreck was their software business and bits an bobs, but no one was willing to buy the company as whole.
