Couldn't find a FAQ or anything obviously related to my questions.

I'd had hoped that a community forum might be an alternative to starting from scratch and making a new hobby of reading volumes of wiki pages and manuals.
The documentation could be more thorough but there is a Wiki section which includes User manual, Support group, changelog, install guide, etc...
