e-book kindle/nook loans, loan sites, and value
I was wondering about this as I loaded a bunch of books to lend at my lending site.
Kindle and nook both allow 1-time loan of selected books (determined by publisher participation in the program, for a 14-day period.
Is an e-book more valuable to you if you can lend it?
Would you pay more for an e-book you want if it is lendable? How much more? If not, why not?
Do you lend only to friends, or do you use a lending site, or both?
If you use a lending site, what is your general ratio of loans to borrows?
Do you have any comments on the selection of books that are generally available to lend or borrow?
